West Beach was originally called the Hasler Estate and this name remained for many years. Hasler was the name of the company that built the bulk of the houses and bungalows in the 1930s.
There is a mix of properties in West Beach with most houses dating back to the 30s and 40s, we have over 400 properties and enjoy being close to Shoreham Beach and the Wydewater Nature Reserve.
The West Beach Residents Association is active in protecting the interests of our residents, we have a keen interest in local planning development and environmental issues that effect our community.
